My experience at Toyexus restored my faith in letting other people work on my truck. I typically do my own work, unless the maintenance required is beyond my capability. I was driving across the country and needed an oil change so I stopped into the local Toyota. They successfully changed my oil but they also gave me a wild (and wiley expensive) diagnosis about all these services that my truck supposedly needed. This didn’t leave me feeling confident about the next 4500 miles ahead of me. The following day I took my truck to Toyexus and asked them to have a look at the issues Toyota flagged, luckily Wendy and the team at Toyexus were able to get me into the shop first thing in the AM. The mechanic at Toyexus quickly found that Toyota misdiagnosed my vehicle, performed a flush and fill service on my diffs and told me that I should consider changing my rear pads and rotors soon, but that otherwise my truck was good to go. Toyexus performed a full inspection of my truck, serviced the diffs, and best of all they restored my trust and confidence in the work and care that characterizes GREAT shops. I wish I was local, I’d bring my truck to Toyexus for any service that I can’t perform myself, and leave knowing that I can trust the mechanics to care for vehicle the way I do, without trying to break my bank. My family has used Toyexus before and been satiafies with their mechanical work. The staff is also polite, responsive, and easy to reach by phone.
That being said, at the most recent oil change and inspection of my 2017 Hybrid RAV4, Toyexus recommended multiple services to components that a hybrid model does not have. They also recommended/quoted a routine coolant maintenance they had just completed January. And while not an uncommon practice auto repair, the quote included an upsell for $118 worth of aftermarket additives that are neither required nor recommended in the car’s service manual. Combined, these added a little over $400 to the estimate for recommended services.
It is entirely possible that, some of these things would have been caught and taken off after additional inspection by the mechanic. However, such significant oversights and upsells make me wary of returning.
**One note - They denied payment by a Synchrony Car Care card because it required making an additional phone call: Which was surprising because I’d never run into that at other places. That being said, I should have asked if it was an accepted form of payment before receiving service - which is my fault - but perhaps helpful for future customers to know.

Always fast and easy to communicate with! I called to say I was on my way to pick up and it was snowing and they had my car warmed up with heat on ready to drive right out of the lot- it was a nice gesture in the middle of a storm! Been coming here for 8 years 🙂

Toyexus Auto Repair is the most honest and convenient place I’ve taken my car. The staff were friendly and clearly knowledgeable, explaining everything in plain language. My oil change was done quickly and efficiently, and the waiting area was comfortable. If honesty had a location on Google Maps, it would be here. I will definitely come back for all my car maintenance needs.

I had a great experience with Wendy and Toyexus. I had to get my front differential actuator replaced and they were quick, knowledgeable and accommodating. Things were repaired quickly and they fixed my issue in a timely manner. Would highly recommend taking your Toyota here and support a small business!

I had a great experience at Toyexus Auto Repair, especially since it was my first time there. Wendy was wonderful to work with—clear, patient, professional, and very reassuring throughout the process. The repair needed on my 2005 4Runner was significant and costly, but she took the extra time to do a 3-way call with me and an out of state family member to explain everything again so I could get help to make the best decision on the situation. She also kept me informed every step of the way. Since Toyexus Auto Repair took care of my car, my Toyota runs better than ever, and they will definitely be my new shop for my aging Toyota.

Legit could not say enough great things about this shop - went above and beyond, performed no-hassle warranty work when manufacturer parts were defective (not Toyexus' fault), great communication, reasonable prices, etc. Their business practices demonstrate they are interested in building rapport with long term customers, not just a quick buck. Without going into the details, which would make for an longer review, they did warranty work on an item that many shops would push back on for being a product of wear and tear. Then, immediately after that, they went way out of their way to accommodate some relatively unique aspects of my vehicle with a follow up project I requested - simply because they felt it was good business to help me out. I've worked with a LOT of mechanics in the past (didn't alway drive a Toyota..). The folks at Toyexus have been some of the most, if not the most, straightforward/easy/honest/endorse-able to work with.

April was the best person I could possibly work with for my Acura repairs. I felt so comfortable working with a woman the entire time and she went above and beyond to get my extended warranty company to pay what they should and worked with me for the remaining balance.
